The UNT Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data Science (DS) is a university-wide, interdisciplinary hub that empowers faculty, students, and industry partners to advance applied AI and data-driven innovation. Our mission is to accelerate AI and DS research, expand education and workforce pathways, and translate emerging technologies into impactful, real-world applications.

A four-week intensive, research team effort available in both June and July to bring together students from a variety of AI and Computer Science-related academic programs, including both undergraduates and graduates, to supplement their traditional course-based educational experiences with focused, project-oriented research efforts.
