UNT AI Summer Research Program

Immersive Undergraduate & Graduate Summer Experience
A structured summer research program where students collaborate with faculty on cutting-edge AI research projects, attend seminars and professional development workshops, and present outcomes at a summer symposium, primarily for UNT students with REU and other programs also participating.

REU Site: Making Generative AI Responsible

Research Experiences for Undergraduates

This REU Site focuses on addressing critical challenges related to risk and uncertainty in Generative AI. The program emphasizes the development of novel algorithms that prioritize privacy, security, explainability, reliability, and robustness, helping ensure that generative AI technologies are developed and deployed responsibly.
