What is the AI Immersion Summer Program?

The AI Immersion Summer Program is a 2-part program designed to support your educational and professional journeys in AI. Part 1, Discover AI, provides an introduction to AI fundamentals including key ethics issues. Part 2, Apply AI, builds on these learnings to further develop technical skill sets and build an AI portfolio. Upon completion of the AI Immersion Summer Program students:

  • Will receive a Discover AI Certificate of Completion and an Apply AI Certificate of Completion
  • Will gain ideas for next steps to take in pursuing an academic or career path related to AI
  • Will be invited to participate in further career development opportunities including AI internships

This free program is designed to accommodate students with both limited and advanced levels of CS and coding experience. Students will be placed into specific pathway depending on prior experience.  The program runs for 6 weeks online beginning the week of July 5th. Synchronous and asynchronous instruction with flexible scheduling totaling 10 to 15 hours weekly.

Who Should Participate?

The Summer Program is best suited for rising sophomores and juniors though all undergraduate students are encouraged to apply.

AI4ALL programs are designed to bring together and highlight voices that have been historically excluded, and that will lead and shape the future of AI.
